My 2008 season so far has had its ups and downs.  I have had a lot of bike trouble this year and have been struggling to get by with the high gas prices and what not.  I am in the running to win all my classes in the MO State series so thats going well.  I am getting ready for branson and hope to make a good showing there.  I hope to be in the top 7 in the A classes and hope to win the +25.  From there we are trying to get some people to car pool to Gatorback and then look to the TX fall and winter series to end out this year.  I would like to thank all my sponsors for their help throughout the year it has been a tough one and without your support I would have had to drastically cut back.  Thank you

this weekend!

Hi all,

Just wanted to drop in and give everyone an overview of my year.  2007 started off pretty rocky.  I was struggling on the new kawasakis and just couldnt get comfortable on them.  I managed to qualify for Loretta's with a 4th place at the regional at The Farm.  The next week I traded my kawasaki 450 for a honda 450.  I felt a lot more comfortable on the honda right from the get go.  I had only a couple weeks before Lorettas and even though I felt more comfortable I still didnt have my confidence back.  So I limped into Lorettas and well choked.  1st moto I get an amazing start come out 2nd behind Kevin Walker.  I went backwards from there never crashed but fell all the way back to like 16th before I made my way back to 8th.  The rest of my motos went the same way and I came out luckily with a 9th overall.  9th overall at Loretta's isn't anything to be ashamed of at all but I want a trophy not a plaque (podium overall).  So we are heading back friday from Lorettas so we can make the Missouri State race at Buffalo, MO.  Dennis Jonon has been tearing up MO state pretty much the whole year.  Well throw Jimmy Albertson in the mix at buffalo and yeah you have some tough competition.  Well we come out Jimmy has holeshot, I come out 2nd and Dennis 3rd.  Dennis gets around both of us and we finish within 6 bikes of each other.  So I gain confidence at this race and it has snowballed.  We go into the one of the last state races in Merwin, MO.  It is really stacked.  Johny Marley, Jase Lewis, Jimmy Albertson, Dennis Jonon, Jeff Crutcher and Cody Clark to name a few were there.  In the last moto I pull the holeshot and Marley gets around me after about a lap and then Lewis got around me and we battled for a few laps and then on the last lap Albertson squeezes me out with 2 turns to go before the finish.  I was mad that I got passed on the last lap most definitely.  But I ran those guys' pace for 8 laps.  Every one of those guys have qualified for supercross and the nationals.  I am 10yrs older than them guys.  I am very proud of my season this year.  I turned it from a not so good season to a season with another top 10 at Lorettas and a Missouri state championship title in 2 of the 3 classes I ran in.  I have already started preperation for next year.  I better training program and getting the new bikes better than ever.  Thanks for everyone that supported me throughout the 2007 Season.

Just raced another MO State race this weekend and it was a very good day for me I won all 6 of my motos. The track got good and rough and the weather was pretty good all around. My dad came away with a 6th and my son gage came away with 19th in the 85 jr class. It was a pretty good day for our family. This puts me leading the series in +25 and 250 expert and im only 1 point down in the 125 expert with 2 races left.

Well guys I am on a roll. I go to Loretta`s and pull of a 4th. Get home on saturday get bikes and stuff ready for sunday`s State Race. Well show up to the State race and Dennis Jonon has showed up. Well we battled back and forth the 1st moto with me coming out on top. The 2nd moto i passed him on the 1st lap and pulled a decent gap on him. Something I never thought I would do because Dennis is an awesome rider. I ended up winning the +25 and getting 4th in the 125 Expert.

Well im back. Loretta`s has really gave me a boost this year. I get back and win the state series race against Dennis Jonon and now this past weekend I win 4 of 6 motos and the State series race at MMXP in Rolla, MO. Ending up 1st overall in +25 and 250 A, and 3rd in the 125A. This moves me into 1st in the series points in the 250A. I hope to keep this ball rolling throughout the rest of the year.
