Overview

How I got started

I got started when I was 13 years old. My dad bought me a 1988 trx250x. When he taught me how to ride he had me ride a circle track for about two weeks, after the first day of riding I was hooked. Then ever since then I have been riding and racing as much as possible.

Goals for the Future

One of my main goals for the future is to make it an A class rider locally. For the next season I plan to race B class for the 2006 season. Hopefully I will have the experience to make it to an A class rider for the 2007 season. One other goal is to race as many Nationals I can for the 2006 season. My final and most important goal is to keep clear of all injuries and to stay a smart rider.

What inspires you to compete?

The thing that inspired me to want to compete was the first time I went to a motocross race with quads I sat there watching atv`s racing and I just thought it looked like a blast and that I wanted to do that, then the next motocross race I signed up and ever since then I have been racing.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 20 years old. My birthday is February 27, 1987. I have lived in Des Moines, Iowa all of my life. I currently live with my parents. I have been working a lot lately so I can buy as many parts this winter for my quad while the season is over for a few months.

Why do you compete?

The reason I compete is I am a competitive person. I strive for better results. When I first started racing I always wanted to be the person who crossed the finish line first and the first time I did I was so excited and when I crossed the finish line I just thought wow I have always strived to do that.

Competitive Highlights

To me my best highlight was when I hit neutral right off the line in my second moto and ended up in last place out of the 13 riders, but I came back to third place. If there was one more lap I would have passed the person in second place.
