How I got started
I started racing when I was 10 years old, back in 1998 on a KX60. I started competing almost immediately, taking 14th out of 27 riders .By my second year of competition I was winning most of the events I entered. I started racing a KX 80 in 1999 and by 2001 I had won local and track championships. I have been lucky to have great people like my father Tom Beckett and family friend Dane Leimbach around to learn from and give his years of experience. The 2007 season I will begin racing 125 and 250 A class and will try to attend Arenacross and indoor racing while continuing my education at college and working.
