Hey Mike. No billfish tournaments for us for a few more years. We fish over 15 kingfish tournaments a year from Port A. to North Carolina. Its hard to be gone that much and keep your woman happy. Good luck this year and hit it hard. You never know where your road will take you. Be safe.

Moto Interview

How did you get started?

well when i was little, probly around 4 or 5, my dad built me go-karts and i rode the wheels off of them for a few years. then i think when i was about 8, he bought me a really rough 80's model two stroke 80cc 3 wheeler. i rode that for a year or so, then i started gettin into a little bmx stuff. nothin fancy, just building wooden ramps and dirt landings and spacing them farther apart from eachother each time i got a wild hair on my chest. then my dad hauled off and got me an 05' yz 85 in 2004, i was pretty scared of it at first, but once i got on it i didnt want to stop. we started takin family rides to local tracks every weekend for a year or so. then i started gettin ancy about riding real motocross. i hit the track for the first time at Cross Creek Cycle Park in 2005. i fell in love. from there i raced and rode my 85's spokes off like a mad man. i learned the loops and caught on very fast for some reason, and i jumped up on a RM 125, raced that thing til it blew up, then finally gave in and bought an 06' YZF 250. i found myselft on that bike for sure. i knew it was meant to be that me and motocross met eachother. not a second goes by that i dont imagine myself screamin on the track wide open when im not on the bike. i went through the beginner, novice, and on to intermediate in about 3 and a half years of riding. we even have our own motorcycle shop in snook out on our farm land, where my buddy TJ built me some sweet stuff on my personal track out there. its awesome. i love this sport and everything about it.Photobucket

What are you planning for next season?

-Racing B/Intermediate classes for 2008PhotobucketPhotobucket -Lake Whitney Amatuer National -Oakhill Amatuer National -U.S. Dealers Challenge Series -EVO Series -AHRMA events -Saturday Night Lights Series -Some Arenacross Events -Suzuki Memorial Day Classic -Sandia Classic, Albequerque, New Mexico

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

realizing my love for this sport, and how lucky i am to be invovled in it. not every kid gets to ride a bike every day, and im grateful for it. i know its god's will that i ride like this, otherwise he wouldnt have gave me the talent to race a motocross bike.PhotobucketPhotobucket
