Overview

How I got started

I got a pw50 for Christmas when I was 4. My dad, my brother, and I used to go riding in the desert for fun. Then I found out that my uncle had started racing again after quitting many years back, so I wanted to try racing out. I started racing soon after my seventh birthday and I have been racing ever since.

Goals for the Future

I plan on spending the first part of the 2010 season focusing on the AMA West Coast Supercross Lites Series and the AMA Lucas Oils Motocross series. Whether or not I will be able to do every planned race depends on budget and support for next year. My main goal for my first attempt at Supercross is to make mains, and for the outdoor nationals is to earn some points.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

When I go to the races and win and do well I know that all the work and training pays off. I just love the sport and I enjoy going to the races and having fun.

Why do you like this sport?

Motocross is a lot of fun and you always get to meet new people. It is a sport that the whole family can enjoy by going to the races and supporting and helping the rider. The sport is also very competitive and I am a competitive person, so it makes it fun.

Describe your style...

A lot of people tell me I`m smooth and have good form and style. I try to imitate the better techniques and styles of the pros I think look the best. I also get some of my styling from the trainers I have had.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I work out at the gym 4-5 times a week. I lift weights, run, and roadbike.

What do you want your future career to be?

I would obviously like to have a good career racing professional motocross, but it is tough to make a career out of racing. I just want to race and have fun. I would like to eventually own my own business, maybe multiple businesses, as I am attending college to pursue a degree in business management.

Education

I have always attended public school, and I graduated from Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona in 2007 with Academic Scholar honors. I started attending Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Fall of 2007, where I have maintained a 4.0 GPA, and will graduate from there after summer 2009 with an Associates Degree in Business. I will then transfer to a university - most likely Arizona State University - where I will pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.

Competitive Highlights

  • I am a multi-time Arizona state champion, along with several other various series championships I have won in Arizona throughout my career.
  • Several top five and top three overall series finishes in Golden State and GFI series' (Southern California) throughout my career.
  • Multiple top 10 overall finishes at amateur national events throughout my career, along with several top five moto finishes at these events.
  • I have never won a national championship, but I am attempting to.
