Q&A - Personal
Some Personal Information About Me:
My name's Gordon Pull. I'm 20 years old and live in Grayson, GA. I was born in Overland Park, KS, but have lived here the majority of my life. I graduated high school in 2006 and was heavily involved in high school sports (track and football). I went to college for one year before I sustained a broken clavicle and a Grade IV separation in a practice accident. I had to have surgery and haven't made it back to school since. I work fulltime at Cycle Gear in Roswell as an Assistant Team Leader. I love what I do and hope to stay in the industry for the rest of my life. My first bike was a 96 CR80 Expert and I started riding when I was about 12. I'm very passionate about riding and just started racing last year in November. I have 4 races under my belt now and am looking forward to hitting it hard this summer.
Music?
I like all types of music except for country. I listen to a lot of hard rock and metal, but listen to the occasional rap as well. Slipknot, Chevelle, Korn, Linkin Park, Lamb of God, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Blink-182, Fair to Midland, Trust Company, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Metallica, Mudvayne, Godsmack, The Offspring, Kanye West, Outkast, Ludacris, P.O.D., Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle, Tool, System of a Down, Three Days Grace, Young Jeezy, and Three 6 Mafia are pretty much all the bands I listen to.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be an architect at first, but figured I'd be better off staying in the motorcycle industry. I'd really like to be a rider rep for clothing brand for motocross... No Fear mainly. I'm practically grown up already, so I'd better jump on that.
Describe your style...
I've been told I look really smooth when I ride. I think the main reason is because I'm so tall. I'm always comfortable it seems and really loose. It could be a good or bad thing when you look at it.
How's Life Treating You?
Life's treating me okay so far. I've learned a lot of lessons so far. I've had 2 surgeries (1 motocross related) so far, so I've toned my riding style down a little bit. I think the main reason for that is because I have to go to work the next day as opposed to going to school. I try to stay in touch with my friends as often as possible, but it's tough because everyone's off at school and I'm working full time. Other than those issues, I'm doing awesome and am really looking forward to the future.

Long Mountain re-opened today. Had a great day until my 450 blew. I'll get it apart to see what failed. I think from the way it locked up with no notice that the connecting rod broke. I put up some photo,s on GOR in the MX section from today. I'll up date you later. |

Gordon, sounds good. You and the rest of the 400 club should check out CMX. Drake loves the track and I think you guys will too. Great soil and is prepped to a tee. |
