How I got started

HI! My name is Brittany Trentman. I have been racing since I was 8 quit after my first race (I got hurt) and did not race for two years. I started back up at the age of 10 on a KX 60 and have been racing since. Since then I have been riding an 85 then moved up to 100 for a year. As of 1-05-2006 I will now race on a Kawasaki KX 250f. I have been getting better as the years go on. I just can`t wait for the next season to start. I just started up my sponsorhouse account again.

Goals for the Future

For 2009 my plans are to win another race! Last year I was injured so I took some time off and I ready to get ready and race. Also to help all my sponsors get on the podium! To get onto a factory team like Kawasaki Team Green. To win the District 11 Women`s Class Championship. To show my best abilities in racing. I hope to get into better shape too and also not to have any illnesses or injuries.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

My Step dad has been racing for over 20 years and he got me into motocross. He also owns his own motorcycle bussiness. He does not push me but gets on my butt when I need to do something on my dirt bike. But the thing that I hate is that people say girl or women cannot race. Well I prove them wrong everytime!

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

My first year of racing at my 4th race I was doing well in practice on my KX 60 when my Brother came behind me. He had been racing 4 more years than me so I gased it too much in the whoop section on the kids track at kenworthys mx park and did a superman came down hit my ribs in mt handle bars and went down hard. Right in front of my brother. The track workers had to take me to the tower to get checked out but I still raced that day. Did not do to well but I raced!

Some Personal Information About Me:

HI! My name is Brittany Trentman. I raced Supermini and Women`s class last year. This year I hope to get on the top. I ride BMX and I`m in a top singing group in my school. I`m also was on the Centerville High School Bolwing Team in 2004, 2005, 2006. I try not to push myself but when you go up aginst the boys you just want to be them.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I love to train. I run and bike for miles I have a BMX Track in my back yard that I love to ride on. I practice at least once a week. I also eat heathly. I hate going to McDonnalds. Sometime I will be at the track with Loretta Lynns 2-time winner Walker Brightwell. (he was on my dads team)

Why do you compete?

I compete for the love of motocross and so I have something to do. I Hate school sports so I choose this sport. My friends think that it is cool. They love looking at my trophies! I like to see the boys face when I beat them! But that is only when I race the boys!
