No, Eric Medlen did not make it...He was a famous Funny Car driver on the John Force Team. We did not know him personally, we were just hoping that if we all prayed or had positive thoughts surround him, he might survive, he was only 33. His parents decided to keep his wishes (Living Will) and they pulled the plug because he was getting worse, not better. They had a special on the Speed Channel or NHRA TODAY, about Eric..he was an incredible man and he had a incredible relationship with his father, who was a mechanic on the John Force Team...The crash is still under investigation and the focus is the frame and the Good Year Tires. Right now they are saying that the Vibration is what actually injured him, not hitting the wall...So now they are saying either the frame caused the tire to burst, or the tire bursting caused the frame to be compromised. We are just happy it has nothing to do with the motor. hugs, Chelle & Nick
