How I got started

When I was six years old my dads friend had a pw 50 and I would ride it in the yard. Then they took me to a practice track and I would ride all day and then my dad asked me if I wanted to race so I went to my first race and won, then I wanted to get serious about it so now we travel around Michigan racing.

Goals for the Future

Next year I would like to race out side of Michigan so I can race different tracks and new competition. I hope to improve my racing skills as much as I can with those experiences. In Michigan races I hope to be in the top 3 at all races that I attend.

What inspires you to compete?

My dad has always been there for me with any of my decisions that I have made about racing and I think that knowing we have such a great bond with racing it keeps me going. Racing is alot of fun and I really enjoy doing it there are still some times that you arent doing the greatest and you are ready to give up but when you have support from your family and friends they keep you going. So I believe that is what I think imspires me to compete.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Some personally information about me would have to be I live in Michigan and I am a senior in high school and planning on going to college. I like to ride dirtbikes, play volleyball, hang out with my friends, go swimming, shopping, and going to the movies.

Why do you compete?

I compete because of my family and friends that I have made at the races in the past years. They are there to compete and its a whole different life when you are at the race track. It is also alot of fun.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up I would like to be a pro racer but if that doesnt fall through I plan on being and accountant.

How's Life Treating You?

Life right now is treating me alright. It being my senior year in high school I have alot of work to do and alot of decisions to make for my future. As of right now I want to go to college to be an accountant, which will take some time to get my degree in but it will all be worth it with our economy right now. I hope to move out as soon as I can so im not living with my parents all my life.

Ice Race- In January of 2007 I was asked to ride a pro indoor in Flint, MI.  I was the first girl in the pro class.  I started to get a little scared with all the talk that I was starting to hear is the girl still racing, does she know that we aren't going to treat her like a girl.  I didn't make it in the A main not that I was expecting to, that the guys in there dont mess around and that being one of the few times that I have rode on the ice.  Overall it was a good and fun experice and hope to get to ride it again.

Dirt Track- We haven't been able to attend many races this year because of all the graduation stuff that has been going on, now that, that is all over we are attending alot more races.  We just got my bike running right because the crank went out and when we had it rebuilt something didn't go right so we just got that figured out.  So for my highlight one of my first races on July 28th was one of the most exciting ones in a while.  This year I am still in the two hardest and fastestes classes I managed to get 3rd in both races entered.  I can't wait for the next race to see what I can improve on there and hopefully advance my finishing positions.
