Event: Japan Series#1

Place: Hakodateyama, Shiga Japan

Date: May 5th, 2007

There was Japan series#1 in Hakodateyama, Shiga last weekend.

I was 1st place in Semi-Final and Fianl!

The track was mainly single track and switchbacks.

It was no problem to ride 6.6 bike on this track.

But in final run the track was getting slippy loose ground and a lot of braking bumps, so I had to save the speed.

Final results

1. Mio Suemasa 3:58.751

2. Hiroka Nakagawa 4:10.960 +12.208 28.69

3. Karey Watanabe 4:13.359 +14.608 28.42

Event: Sea Otter Classic

Place: Monterey, CA

Date: April 12th-15th.

My first race of Team FUNFANCY/INTENSE was in Sea Otter Classic.

I raced Downhill and Dual Slalom with my new bike "Intense 6.6".

On Saturday, there was Dual Slalom.

The track was awesome however it was terrible weather and rain delay.

Qualification was 6th and I won the first heat.

In second heat, I played against Rachel Atherton.

I was comfortable in first flat turn section and almost same speed with her, but she was fast at burm section after that and I couldn't catch her.

My final result is 6th place.

Downhill race on Sunday.

There were a couple jumps, uphill and pedal section on the track.

The jump section was fun and I feel fast but I complete dead at pedaling section...

I finished 12th place.
