How I got started

I worked in a shop down in Ruidoso, NM (Boarderstop) and we brought MBS and Ground Industries in so I thought mountainboarding would  be a good off season training tool for the snowboarding season.

I got started with snowboarding after my senior year in high school. I took a few lessons with my boyfriend/coach and was hooked. now i am competing with both mountainboarding and snowboarding and loving every minute of it! Thanks to Joseph for introducing me to these amazing sports and always being there pushing me to the next level!

Goals for the Future

My biggest goal is to finish in the top 3 in slopestyle at the US Open this summer.I made my goal for the summer!!! I won everything at the US Open and Triple Crown.  I finished just shy of that last season finishing in 4thplace. I also want to place better in the boarder X at the open as well.

Another goal of mine is to find more competitions this summer and help spread the word of mountainboarding as much as possible. Always riding and introducing new people to this amazing sport is so much fun.

Goals for the Winter:
bring myself to a new level, ride as much as possible and do as many competitions as possible.

What inspires you to compete?

The rush of competition, being able to get ahead and hear the next girl behind you clear as day on a boardercross track. I am also inspired to compete because this is how we spread the word of our wonderful sport.

Competition is a blast and is good for everyone. i love the rush of being right there next to a pro and being able to compete against her.
