About Me:

Born August 15th 1989 in New Mexico, I have moved around the U.S and world my whole life. In 6th grade, my family moved to Tianjin China, this is where my love of motor sports began. A friend of my father's found and rented a karting track near our homes (a rare find in rural China), along with 12 karts. The first time I opened up the throttle in that 125cc Rotax Kart, I knew that racing was something I was meant to do.

I drove Rotax in China until we moved back to Austin. Now, being a member of Iron Rock Raceway, I have re-discovered my love for racing and I am pursuing it to its fullest extent.

I recently completed the 3-Day Skip Barber Formula Racing School to supplement seat time with genuine and invaluable racing theory knowledge. Racing is a very large part of my life and it is reflected by my dedication to the sport of Karting. I will compete in the RotaxMax season this year and all subsequent years I am able to.

Average Week (Training)
On the average week, I will spend 3-5 days at the track, and one day at a gym for physical training.
Some may think my training is excessive, but for me it's much more than training, it's my desire to always do better. Seat time is invaluable for any driver, and I hold this to be very true.

I am an articulate, friendly and passionate driver who competes to the best of his ability without becoming over-competitive.

Personal

Describe your style...

My driving style can be described as aggressive but clean. I do not resort to blocking, as it reflects negatively on the driver who does it.

Why do you compete?

To put it simply, I love to race. It doesn't matter what vehicle I'm in. I will drive until someone drags me away from the track.

Employment / Experience Summary

I have been driving for 7 years, on and off, and now recently I have become extremely motivated. I have a customer service background and I get along well with everyone.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to race, I want to travel and compete with others that share the same passion that I do.

How's Life Treating You?

Life is amazing. My dad and I are at the track more than at home, the racing season is going to start in April. I couldn't be happier.
