Overview

How I got started

I started riding in 1998, competing in the novice class. I qualified for Loretta Lynn`s in 2001 racing the novice class. After Loretta Lynn`s I moved up to the Intermediate class. In 2002 I raced in the A class. I then turned pro in 2003. In 2004 I competed in the AMA West Coast Supercross Series.

Goals for the Future

I want to make my team bigger and better and to take everything I know and learned to the next level. I also want to make every main event I enter.

Bio

Some Personal Information About Me:

My name is Matt Sweeney, Im a 20 year old motocross racer, I graduated from high school in 2002. I curently live at home with my parents and brother. I`m the manager of my dads business, which enables me to race at the level im on. I train and ride all week long. I have built 4 practice tracks at my house to help my skills.

Competitive Highlights

 

My riding highlights have been getting the chance to compete at Loretta Lynn`s. My other Highlights are turning pro and getting the chance to race with the best riders in the world. I started my own race team in 2003-2004 with my brother rinding for the team.  I won the 2009 District 18 Championship in the Vet +25A class.
