Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I was always a motorsports fanatic and somewhat partial to road course racing. Around 1983, I was able to join the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Initially, I started with Autocross, which gave me great experience with honing my car control skills. In 1986, I built my first race car, which won numerous Regional Championships over 10 years of development. Our current car began development in 1997 and has always been a front runner right out of the box.
List your competitive highlights:
SCCA Northwest Regional Champion - 1987 to 1990
SCCA Las Vegas Region Regional Champion - 1991 to 1992
SCCA San Diego Regional Champion - 1992
Numerous track records: CSCC, Vegas, San Diego regions

What are you planning for next season?
For 2010, we will focus on qualifying for the US Regional Championship series. This is a newly formed race series that will culminate with a final championship race, open to all Regional race competitors throughout the United States. The inaugural race will be held at Buttonwillow Raceway Park in October 2010.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Being blessed with having the opportunity to compete in motorsports competition.
