My name is Marco Basile. I am 14 years old and I love to snowboard. It is my life I love the snow and I love catching big air off jumps and doing sweet tricks. I have been snowboarding since I was about 6 years old.
Describe your style...
I am mainly a park rider but nothing can beat just carving down a mountain. I ride regular stance and like to learn those hard tricks that look so cool.
Why do you compete?
I compete because I love to snowboard and there is nothing better than getting money and free stuff for doing what you love.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
probably when I saw this girl on the slope that I wanted to impress and I tried to do this trick but I fell and ended up with a face full of snow and embarrassing myself.
Why do you like this sport?
Because there are no limits to what you can do on a snowboard. As soon as you learn a new trick there is always another one right there waiting for you to learn that is even cooler looking. And that makes for a challenge and I love a good challenge.
