So as I mentioned before I received a second overall for the Loretta Lynn's area qualifier at Unadilla, I made it. I was so stoked to have made it to the regional's. But unfortunately about a week after qualifiying I realized that I had SAT's on June 6th, the day of the regional's for women's at Budds Creek, Maryland. I knew that the SAT's were more important and I had to take them, It was so dissapointed. I have to wait another year before I can qualify again. It does suck but I guess there are some pro's to it also. Hopefully next year I will qualify again. On the bright side I did just take a first place both moto's for a first place overall at AK farms on sunday :)

This morning I woke up at 5:30 to attend to Northeast area qualifier at the Unadilla track. I did end up qualifying for the regional championship for the womens class. I believe it is at Budds Creek on june 5th and 6th. I am so excited to go :) I hope I can make it to Loretta's, that would be awesome :D I never raced at Unadilla before and I think its a very fun track. I like the track a lot and hope to come back again.I seen the amateur track for the first and only time when i was twelve until today and when I first saw it when I was twelve i was so scared to ever race on it. But today I did and I love it, it was really fun. My dad and I were going to stay over night and just race the district 3 race tomorrow there but he couldnt afford it so we ended up going home tonight. But I will definitely be going back there more often :) I almost had first in the second moto, I was holding the girl off for a while but then on the last lap on one of the corners I stuck to the outside and she passed me on the inside. It was a bit muddy in that corner bc it did thunderstorm there today but only for about 10 minutes maybe? So i thought the outside was driest and didnt wanna fall on the inside because I thought it was slicker and she got me :(  I shouldve just went for the inside but I didnt :(  I still rode pretty hard and im really stoked to go to regional's. It also started to thunderstorm right when I left too.

Im so excited for the 09 season. I can't wait to race again :)

I love the snow but I want to ride so bad. I have still about 1 foot of snow on the ground. But i wanna still be able to snowboard but yet be able to ride at the same time. I would love to go down south to go riding but I dont have the money. So im just going to enjoy the rest of the snowboarding season but still wanting to ride. Down near where my grandma lives the snow is probably all melted so I could go down there one of these weekends and do a little riding on some of the trails there. If I can get some money maybe i'll go to Mototown once before the season starts. I went to mototown for the first time on the day after christmas, it was alright. Of course I love the actual outdoor motocross tracks a lot better but it was still fun and a good way to practice during the winter. But it sucks that they are closing because of that film company buying it out, I think thats whats happening anyway, something like that. Well hopefully I'll be able to get some money for that but until then I'll just be waiting for the first open practice :)

Last Sunday was the last race of the season for msc. It was at Ace and I got 3rd overall. I held 1st for a long time (I think like 3 laps). But I messed up, oh well can't change that I still did alright. I had a really good holeshot and it didn't mess with my points at all because I was locked in for third. Yup I got 3rd place overall for the season which I am happy with because I improved from last years 5th place. This weekend I am probably racing my last race of the season overall. It's at Walden and it's for district 34, they have a open practice on Saturday and Sunday is the race which I most likely am doing both. I am also thinking about going to that indoor track in Syracuse when it snows and see how that is. Well anyway this seasons been fun, I met some new people and friends and I am happy that I got third and hopefully next season i can get 2nd or if im lucky 1st for the overall season.

I ended up having the money to go to the tony d's 4 day school. it was a good experience and i had a lot of fun and i think that i improved a lot. the instructors and a few parents were saying i was improving a lot and were telling me i looked a lot better out there. a few people also said i was the most improved. Tony was saying that he didnt even notice i was the girl because i looked good just like the guys. by  the way there were only 3 girls. oh and it was also held at hurricane hills. we basically went over everything on the track except the  rhythm section because it was really muddy and they didnt want anyone to get hurt. most of the week it was nice until the last day it rained pretty good but that was good because we got to learn to ride in the mud which i think was good.  i think i got a lot better at my cornering and overall i think i got a lot better and faster. i dont think i am as fast as some people in my races but i did get better and im happy that i went to the school and feel i am better and faster. now i hope i can do better in my races  =P
