December 2008

For most of 2008 (January - August), I bounced from Louisiana, Iowa, and South Dakota until I landed in Sioux Falls, SD.  After I got all my stuff and my family under one roof in Sioux Falls, I was itching to race MX (even though I hadn't been on a MX track all year).  I did surprisingly well (2nd overall) and am anxious for the 2009 season.  Unfortunately, everything is covered in snow here now and the temps are below zero.  I got my eye on qualifying for Loretta Lynn's for 2009 in the Vet class, so I will be riding my excercise bike this winter with hopes to be ready come Spring.  I am way out of shape and have about 30 lbs to shed.
