Overview

How I got started

My buddy got a bike and my brother used to ride so he lend me his old GT LTS 1000 to try out and I was hooked.

Goals for the Future

I am working harder than ever to keep up with the worlds best and for next season I want to keep up my steady rise through the elite ranks. This should mean another top 5 overall in the national series in 4X/slalom and make in on the box at most races. I am also training hard to bring myself into the top 10 overall in downhil as well with consistant top 15 finishes. In doing so I'm hoping i will earn my spot again on the World Championship 4X Team as well as the DH team.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I love riding with my friends and traveling to some of the coolest places on earth to do it. Its just that natural rush of wanting to go as fast as possible and trying to see if you can go faster or bigger than the last guy. Hard to explain but worth every second of every injury to get there.

Music?

Big part of my life. Inspires my mood most of the time. Right now its anything but country and that whiney emo dumped boyfriend stuff. Nothing like shredding singletrack while rocking to Metalica or dirt jumping with some Jurrasic 5 flow.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

who really ever wants to grow up. But I am actually taking some engineering classes and wouldnt mind going into chiropractic either. Just gonna see how far riding my bike will get me.

Employment / Experience Summary

I`ve been employed in the bike industry for the past 5 and a half years. I started like most do, as a lowly GROM, hanging around a shop long enough to get hired. Started sweeping and changing flats but eventually moved up and out to various shops around town to be head Mechanic and Service Manager before my racing career really took off. I`m still working as a Mechanic at a good friends shop and a night job as a valet so I can train during the off season and regular week but come friday through sunday, its RACE time!
