Why do you like this sport?
its a way to escape from the world or anything messed up for at least a while and its tons of fun. it also keeps me away from drugs wich i think is great because without this sport im pretty sure i would be some doped up freak and who wants that!?
Describe your style...
well...i like to push myself really hard until i start scaring myself because thats when i can really see what im made of, i like to test myself a lot. i love the feeling of flying into a corner thinking "this aint gonna end great" then you lay that machine over in a rut or on a berm, look forward and feel the power of the bike in a hairy situation pull you away unharmed, great feeling. i like to scrub a lot, prolly too much cuz i tire myself out by doing it so much instead of using some of my air time as relaxed rest time.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
in the winter i go to snap fitness everyday and do upperbody one day then cardio the next, pretty basic, but like i said before i love to push myself, so theres some serious pain involved on cardio day ha.
Why do you compete?
i like to gauge myself with other riders especially in winter when i dont ride as much outdoor i like to make sure every once in a while that im still progressing at a constant rate, if im not, tons of hours in the gym, way more than usuall, also means tons of painful workouts. but you have to have a good attitude about it or it'll get to you
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
when i was really little on my 65 they use to have a bungie cord at the fair races that they would snap in front of you at the start because they didnt have gates. it was one of my first races on the bike and i got really nervous and thought i saw the bungie snap so i took off, busted out a huge wheelie and strangled myself in front of everyone including my family who came to watch.
