Overview

How I got started

I began my racing career in 1998 on a Yamaha PW 50. I competed in my first race shortly after getting my bike and got 1st place at a local arenacross in the 50cc shaft class. In 1999, I graduated to the 50cc 4-6 class riding a Polini X3 50. In 2000, I moved up to the 50cc 7-8 class and began riding a Cobra 50. I competed at several local events and began traveling to bigger events such as Loretta Lynn qualifiers and racing on amateur day at selected pro nationals. 2009 has been my first full year of racing/riding in 5 years! Currently I am racing the 250 B, 250 2-stroke, and 450 B classes on a RM 250 2-stroke.

Goals for the Future

My goals for 2009 and 2010 are to qualify for Loretta Lynn's  and have top finishes at Lorreta Lynn areas and regionals. Top ten at Branson in my classes. As well as showing everyone how fast I really can be with the right people and atmosphere around me.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I think this sport is the best family sport. We have so many friends all over the place and my little sisters best friends are at the track. Its like you have friends at home but they are not your racing friends. Its something we all like to do its almost like going on vacation every weekend.

Some Personal Information About Me: I am a normal kid, who goes to a regular high school. I don't get to ride through the week at all, hopefully I get to ride every weekend during the summer. I just quit basketball, so I am now allowed to ride November-March. I haven't been able to do this in 5 years! I dig deep and try my hardest, even though I know I have the talent to run up front. And, sometimes the results don't show it. I don't like to make excuses, but I know I'm at a disadvantage. I want to be the best I can be, but I also belive in going to school and having a normal life. At school, I am (All A's and B's) and strive to be the best man I can be. Not only with my attitude but my grades as well. I know that if I continue riding like all my competitors (year-round) I could be one to watch out for. My speed and results have improved tremendously over these past 5 months, and they will continue to get closer to the top.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Yes, I do train. Running 1-2 miles a day. Biking 3-5 miles everyday. Pushups, Situps. But I dont get to ride during the week, like other kids. I live in the city and have no where or no time to ride except on the weekends.

Why do you compete?

For the compettive edge and the feeling I get when I am on a dirtbike. I am a competitive person, and this summer I have found a new-born confidence that I have never had. I am more aggressive than ever and in my mind everytime I line up on the gate I think I can win. I love the adrenaline rush of sitting on the starting line and racing with 40 of the best kids in the nation. To represent my sponsors and myself.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I plan on attending a good college and going into broadcasting. This is if I can`t become a professional motocross racer.
