Livewire Supercross Rider Chewin Up the Competitio...
It was another good weekend for Livewire sponsored Supercross rider Adam Chatfield. The AMA Supercross series hit San Francisco this past Saturday, and Riley Racing and Livewire were there.
Chatfield, who races in the 250 lites circuit, was back in action, and looking to climb back up the points standings. After qualifying with the second best preliminary time on the day, Chatfield generated some buzz around the pits.
In the main event, Chatfield finished in 14th place, his third finish in five races, and climbed back up to 14th place in the overall points race as well. Chatfield is just seven points outside of the top ten as the season approaches the midway point.
The AMA Supercross heads back to Livewire’s back yard this coming Saturday at Anaheim Stadium before heading south to San Diego. With a couple of strong showings, Chatfield could very well make an assault on the top riders in the field.
