How I got started

I have been racing for 8 years now, started on a 65, went to an 80, now I am in the 125B class and 16-24 class.

Goals for the Future

Right now I am working out 3 days a week and riding 2 days a week. I will start racing outdoors in March. I will stay in the 125B and 16-24 class. I will also try to qualify for Loretta Lynn`s Amateur National.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Jerrod Cooper - Age 17 2006 Class 125B, 16-24 Bike: 2006 KX250F Kawasaki I have been racing for 8 years now and I am starting to finish in the front of the pack in the majority of my races. In 2004 I won the District 11 Spring Series Championship, Dirt Country Point Series Championship, and District 15`s Indiana State Series Championship. All of these Championships were won in the 125C Class. I also qualify for the regional?s at Loretta Lynn?s finishing 27th out of 61 riders in 2004 and 31st out of 62 in 2005. My goals for 2006 are to stay in the125B and 16-24 classes. I also want to try to qualify for the Loretta Lynn?s Amateur Nationals.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I work out 3 days a week with a fitness trainer, and ride 2 days a week then race every weekend.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Pro motocross mechanic. Have been selected to attend MMI later this year.

How's Life Treating You?

Great! Graduated from High School mid-term. I am now working in construction saving up money for when I move to Flordia to go to MMI.
