BMX in 1997 at the tender age of 5. I competed at the National Level in both NBL and ABA for about 5 years. During this time, I traveled throughout the United States to compete. In 2000 I won the "Race of Champions" #1 plate and the ABA "Grand National" in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a result, along with my achievements in 2000, I was on the cover of the ABA "BMX'er" in January 2001.
In 2001, I started riding vert and pools on my little 16" HARO. I also started doing BIG AIR dirt jumps at some secret spots riding with some big name PRO's. I rode consistantly at places such as: Vans Skatepark, Hollywood Sports, Boomers and Reel Ride. As a result of my riding ability, I was chosen to do a National TV commercial for the Center for Disease Cure and Prevention aka CDC. I did this for a few years before I got hook on riding dirt bikes.
In 2003 started riding dirt bikes full time. It was only a couple months before I started racing my 65. It only took me a short while before I started to dominate the beginner class. In December I won the Winter National at Perris Raceway. In 2004, I started racing the age classes. My first year racing nationals, I made several run-offs on both my 65 and 85 at the NMA World Mini GP and the NMA Grand National Championship in Ponca City. After Ponca I graduated to racing my 85's full time.
