How I got started

My dad started me on a Honda 50 when I was 7.

Goals for the Future

I plan to ride Supermini, Schoolboy and maybe 125C. I would like to qualify for Ponca City and finish in the top 10 Overall. 2007 will be my first year on the 125 and we are going to work on techniques and riding a lot of different tracks outside of our area.  I will just continue to give 100% and keep going out and trying something new each time I am on the track.  

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it is really fun for me and I love to ride. Also I get to meet new people and have made lots of new friends. My Dad and I have a race team DSD (Dirty Side Down) Racing so all of us go to the races every weekend together.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 12 years old and am a straight A student. I work very hard at school so I can ride every weekend. Last year I participated in the Battle of the Books. My favorite classes at school are computer skills and math. I just started the 7th grade and am in advanced reading and math to keep me challenged according to my mom.. This year I am going to take the SAT test for science so I can get some additional challenge...again according to my mom.

Why do you compete?

I compete because I love to ride, and because we live in the city this gives me more riding time. Also I compete against others so I can get better and push myself to do bigger and better motos.  Riding has given me a lot more confidence in myself as well as taught me how to take risks and learn from mistakes.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a successful professional motocross racer when I grow up as that is my ultimate dream. If I can`t be a motocross racer I want to be a Transworld Motocross test rider or a Pro Circuit mechanic. If all else fails I want to be a Pilot or a Stock Broker, maybe a doctor.

Schools Attended

Garton Elementary Goodrell Middle School - 7th Grade

At the end of 2005, I crashed off the start and lacerated my kidneys, liver and spleen.  I was in the hospital for a long time and off school for 4 months. I was pretty scared to ride again and it took me a while to get back into the swing of things. But I kept at it and by the end of 2006 I feel pretty good about my comeback.  I actually won a race and did a triple which was awesome.
