First Pro race back...

The Silver Dollar Nationals in Reno, Nevada the second weekend of January 2008 will be my first Pro race back since March 17, 2007. Just for those of you who don't know, In March of 2007 I severely broke my right collar bone at the NBL nationals in Reedley, Ca. I also broke three ribs on my left side and suffered a severe concussion. After the crash, the collar bone was healing. It was completely displaced (seperated) and chipped which means I had a bunch of bone fragments hanging around in my shoulder. The doctors said I should have surgery because it wasn't fusing back together. The surgery was optional so I chose not to have it. I'm not a big fan of surgery considering I had just had surgery less than six months before on my ankle, and was not happy at the fact that I was going to possibly have it again. So, I did the stupid thing and saod no surgery hoping it would heal on its own, which it didn't. The collar bone is a little better but it is still not completely healed according to the doctors. So, in Reno I'm going to try and give it all I have and see how I do. Wish me luck everyone and see you Reno. Also, a big shout out to my sponsors for the 2008 season: College Cyclery, Monster Energy, ODi Grips, Answer Racing, Shimano, Freestyle Watches, DC Shoes, Blur Optics, and Fuel Clothing. All of you guys are great and so supportive.
