I live near Cleveland, Ohio and compete in AMA, CRA, and AHRMA events around Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.  I began racing motocross in 1984 and have raced ever since, with a few years off for college.

Now a Vet class racer, each year I compete in several racing events near Ohio such as Red Bud Vet Fest and High Point Vet National that focus on the older riders.  In between I fill in with local AMA District 12 and CRA races.

A new fixture in my yearly schedule is the Mid Ohio AHRMA National.  I competed for the first time in 2006 and won a class on a 1981 CR450; in 2007 I raced a 125cc bike for the first time in nearly 10 years and came home second overall.  This is a great event and I restored a bike just to race this each season!

One of my goals is to make the Loretta Lynn's National Championship in Tennesee.  I have qualified out of Area Qualifiers and raced the Regionals five times, but each time I've come up just a bit short of getting to the show in the +25, +30 and +35 classes.

Some highlights for me have been winning Overall, Spring, and Fall Series' in my home area of AMA District 12.  Winning an AHRMA National is a great memory as well.  Also in 2004 I travelled with friends to California and competed in the annual Mammoth Mountain Motocross.  That was definitely a great experience!
