A frequent question that is asked is," Why are we here?" My friends I am here to tell you that life's purpose is to leave everything behind and follow God with all your heart. What are you living for? Is your purpose in life to follow God? Maybe you put all your energy in sports, or maybe school, for some people their life is all about looking good and they only care about what people think of them. These things don't matter. What happens once you die? All that time invested in sports will not last. Once you die that thing you put your life into is gone. God's love is unfailing and eternal. He calls us to be disciples, and to spread his word. We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God but he loves us so much that he sent his son for you, me, and everyone that ever existed. His son, Jesus Christ, was the perfect sacrifice and he died on he cross to forgive all men of their sins forever, only to raise 3 days later. All you have to do is believe this in your heart and confess it with your mouth and eternity in the perfectness of heaven is yours. So what will you invest your time in? What do you believe? I believe in a life fully for my saviour Jesus Christ who died on the cross and rose three days later. His love for all is unfailing and investing your life in him is what is truly important. I am not saying to never do anything but read your bible and pray, Sports are awesome and are a blessing from God. Just don't let them be more important than God because they always leave you empty. So I ask that you at least think about what you are doing with your life, how it is turning out, and considering a life for God. Also if you dont have a Bible, get your hands on one and get into it. The Bible is the instruction manual to life. USE IT!
