This was my first race in Yamaha Sr. Supercan and my first race at NCMP. I qualified 12th in a field of 20 and finished 16th after I was spun out by a competitor. I am proud of my accomplishment at NCMP. I started out the weekend with a lap time of 1 min. 22 seconds and after just an hour or so of practice before the event, I bettered my time by 8 seconds. My fastest lap was 1:14:857. The top finisher had a best lap of 1:13:222.
