What inspires you to compete?

I want to constantly be faster and faster. Competing forces me to go harder and push my limits, in turn making me ride faster. My determination to improve is what inspires me to compete.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Yes. I go to the gym for weights twice a week, run, and play field hockey. I also built a track at my house which I practice on atleast four times a week. As well I try to ride at a new location every weekend.

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it is challenging. I also enjoy the atmosphere and the people involved in the sport.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up... well I am almost there. This year I finished my Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in English and History. I will be a middle school teacher.

Music?

Nearly everything, but mainly country and metallica

How did you get started?

I use to competitively ride horses, but when I started university I no longer had the finances to continue. I started looking for something new in my life and dirtbiking was it!

List your competitive highlights

I raced the ODR off-road series in 2006 and 2007. In 2007 I raced the ODR and PNMA series, finishing 3rd overall in the Womens A division.

What are you planning for next season?

For 2008 I plan to race the harescrambles/cross country races in Washington, the odr series, the pnma series, as well as cma motocross.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

In round 4 of the ODR off-road series on my second lap, I flipped my bike overbackwards and fouled my sparkplug. Unfortunately I did not have a plare plug on me and had to push my bike two kilometers back to the pits. I got my bike ready to go again and went out and rode my last lap even though everyone else had already finished. This was my biggest accomplishment because my body was so tired and exhausted from pushing my bike, yet I pushed to continue on and finish the race!
