2008 Race Season

The 2008 season is complete.  I raced the East/West Shootout at Savannah MX park this spring.  I finished first overall in points in the Women's Open class.

Throughout the summer, I competed in the AMRA Outlaw MX Series.  I had a blast racing this series.  I entered the Women's Open class and +30 Novice class throughout the series.  I finished first in points in the Women's Open class and third in points in the +30 Novice class.

I raced a few AMA District 3 races.  I also raced in the Women's Open class and +30 Novice class.  On a few occasions I finished one position from winning a trophy in the +30 Novice class.  I did well in the Women's Open class winning one race.

Unfortunatly, my season ended early with a shoulder injury in September.  I plan to spend the off season building up my strength and endurance.  With hard work I hope to be a top competitor next year in both the Women's and +30 Novice classes.

Biography

Growing up I alway wanted a dirt bike but my parents would never allow me to have one.  Then after getting married and building a house, I finally purchased a CRF150F in 2005.  After a few months of riding that bike I decided I needed something faster.  So I ended up getting brand new CR125.  It took a bit to get use to the two stroke but I loved that bike.  I spent 2006 riding around home and went to my first track in September 2006 when I had a bad crash.  It did not discourage me though.  As soon as I could I got back on my bike.  I raced my first race on July 1, 2007 at Area 51 in Batavia, NY.  I had a blast and have not looked back since.  Shortly after my first race I purhcased the bike I currently race a CRF250R.    My husband and family support me 100%.
