Rockford Race Report

Double A Marketing BMX Race Report ABA Midwest Nationals Rockford, Illinois Round 9 of the 2006 ABA Pro series national events was held this past weekend at the Rockford BMX track. Rockford is known as one of the smoothest and fastest tracks on the national tour and is one of the best tracks in the nation. A purse power track, Rockford showcases the riders that have been putting in the time training. Hot and humid conditions met the riders smack on at the start of the race weekend on Saturday, and Sunday was an all day rain laden race day. Both days had exciting race action from the Double A Marketing pros who were in attendance. Here is how Kyle Bennett and Randy Stumpfhauser finished up the weekend: Kyle Bennett has become the most dominant AA Pro in the past month. Kicking things off last weekend with 2 Elite Pro wins in Evansville, Kyle backed it up with another 2 huge AA Pro wins at the Rock. On Saturday, Kyle won all 3 AA Pro main events, pulling every AA Pro in Rockford. Kyle had huge leads and his trademarked effortless looking riding style had all the pros scratching their heads. On Sunday, the rain forced the ABA to change to 1 main event for the AA Pro, but Kyle didn`t change his style, with another impressive AA main event win. It looks like all the hard work and determination after Kyle`s knee surgery has paid off, as he now looks to be very close to taking over the Pro points lead in both the ABA and NBL. Kyle`s sponsors include Free Agent, KHS, Fly Racing, Bombshell F1 Fork, Sun Rims, Shimano, UGP, Kenda, Thomson, Utopia Eyewear, S & M bars, ODI, ORP, OGIO, Powerbar, Cyto Sport, and BMXpros.com.

South Park Race Report

Double A Marketing BMX Race Report NBL Stars and Stripes National South Park, PA The finial stop of the 2006 NBL Pro Series events, Round 8, was held this past weekend at the South Park track. South Park has always been know to be the fastest and most technical track on the NBL tour and this year it had some modifications before the event. The changes made the track faster and more tech, but unfortunately weren`t made for the younger and inexperienced riders. The track really showcased how much skill the Pro riders have and actually elevated the respect factor for the Elite Pro riders. With this the final stop of the NBL Pro tour before the Grands, Randy needed to gain a few more points to be in the title hunt, while Kyle held a slight lead before South Park and wanted to extend it. Here is how Kyle and Randy finished up the weekend: Kyle Bennett held a slight lead going into South Park and wanted to extend his lead. On Saturday, Kyle did just that with a 3rd place finish in the Elite main event. Adding a few points will make a huge difference come NBL Grands time, as the title chase will all come down to the main event. On Sunday, Kyle was in the Elite main event again, but this time had to settle for a 8th overall. Kyle is looking forward to the UCI World Championships in a few weeks and hopes he regain the World Champion title that he has 2 time before, for 2006. Kyle`s sponsors include Free Agent, KHS, Fly Racing, Bombshell F1 Fork, Sun Rims, Shimano, UGP, Kenda, Thomson, Utopia Eyewear, S & M bars, ODI, ORP, OGIO, Powerbar, Cyto Sport, and BMXpros.com. 4 Pros have a chance to win the NBL Pro Title. It will take some doing for 3rd and 4th to take the title, but the Grands always has a surprise come main event time.
