For the last six years, Jason has circled the globe from Tahiti to New England, The Caribbean to Chile, Hawaii to Africa and everywhere in between creating unique images for clients and magazines alike.  

 

He will be in the gallery for a few hours with a bunch of new framed prints to check out before we fire up the projector in the parking lot theater for a rad slideshow, narrated by Jason himself on our oversized boombox!

 PiNE Surf Shop and Farias are pleased to welcome living legend, Shaun Tomson, to Long Beach Island!



Yes, the true embodiment professional surfing will be here in PiNE from 5-6 pm this Sunday, August 10 to sign copies of his book, "Surfers Code, 12 Simple Lessons for Riding Through Life".  (great read!  and oh yeah, SHAUN TOMSON WROTE IT!)



Then, at 7pm, at the Regal Theatre in Manahawkin, please join us all for the New Jersey premier of "Bustin' Down the Door", narrated by Edward Norton (the guy from Fight Club, but not Brad Pitt.  The other guy.) This highly anticipated film highlights the birth and subsequent rapid growth of professional surfing during the mid 1970's.  This was a truly radical era for surfing and everyone can thank the stars of this film for revolutionizing professional surfing.



A true gentleman, Shaun has influenced our sport in so many ways, it's difficult to comprehend.  From mastering Backdoor bombs in the 70's to shredding apart J-Bay today, Shaun continues to be one of surfing's most polite and well respected ambassadors.  He is a true living legend.  And he's gonna be in PiNE.  Come shake his hand, have him autograph your book, do whatever.  Just come meet him.  He's awesome.  HE'S SHAUN FRICKIN TOMSON!!
