Ann Coen PhotographyAnn Coen is a self-taught photographer, with an entrepreneurial gift and adventurous soul. She has created quite a lifestyle for herself; documenting the surf, travels, people and her immediate environment in her photo-journalistic style. She was inspired to pick up her camera after spending her early adulthood traveling to places like Tahiti, British Columbia, New Zealand, Colorado, and Fiji. She was quickly recognized as one of the best five women photographers on the East Coast by Eastern Surf Magazine. Over the past several years Ann has captured an international audience. Today she resides on Long Beach Island NJ, where she recently opened her own studio. She and her husband Jon and dog Chief look forward to traveling this winter as well as surfing and shooting some of our gnarliest winter swells here in the Garden State. We were lucky to have Ann photographing the 2nd Annual Clam Jam. The conditions were blustery NE 30 mph winds and swell up to 12 ft. Ann’s photos tell all.
