Hendersonville has come and gone. I didn't do as well as I had hoped but had some good competition. I couldn't get out of the gate and to the first jump fast enough to give the first and second place riders a challenge. I was really close the rest of the race but just couldn't pull 'em in. Sunday I did get out of the gate better but my first five pedals were not strong enough to win the drag race to the first jump.

The training helped somewhat as I was not tired the second day. I also felt stronger from one moto to the next and there were only about 15 minuets between each. So I plan to keep on traing hard. I think I will shift training purpose more to strength and the first 5-10 pedals. If I could improve power to the first turn I'm sure I will be in the mix. I'm going to get an actual squat rack soon so I can do more weight more safetly.

I did better my points by 75 so thats good but I'll need alot more to place in the top 10 or 15. I'm not sure if or when my next big race will be but I'll try to be more ready.

Well I'm off to NC this weekend. I really need to improve my national points, every couple of weeks I drop a spot or two. I'm currently in 12th so hopefully I can get some good races this weekend. I've been training really hard. So I'll put it to the test to see what happens. I'm going to make the most of it 'cause there won't be many chances to race nationals due to finances.

The last couple of weeks have been hard. I've been really tired feeling. But still pushing through the traing. I'm not sure if has been the antibiotics and other medicine that I've been taking or what . I haven't takin any since the 19th but I still don't feel as strong as I should. Hopefully I'll be good for this weekend.

Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Well the season is off to a good start. I've been to three local races and they have been lots of fun. Bradleys track has been fast and smooth.

I'm doing a training program to try to get up to speed with the fast guys in my NBL national class. The traing program leaves me tired alot but It's helping all ready. I have trained for a long time but I was putting to much time into upper body and not enough full laps at the track. Full laps at practice aren't fun but I have been able to pedal hard to the finish so far. So I guess the program is working.

My goals have changed this year some. I had said I just wanted to make some mains in my new NBL national class but I've done that . So my new goal is to podium at one of the remaining nationals I attend. I hope everyone continues to progress their riding and have a great time this year!
