I raced at Bradley bmx last night and had a great time. I got there early to help work on the track and we got it really nice before the race. There were alot of new riders so we had a really good turnout. It was cool seeing everyone again.I only got three gates before the race and then had to go register.

My first moto went good but I didn't transfer.I felt strong and smooth though and wasn't that winded after any of the laps which makes me think my training is working to some degree. The second moto I got a good snap and lead the entire lap to take the transfer. The main was a great race I was in gate one and had a good start I saw one of my competitors  pulling up on me half way down the first straight and I was able to get a few pedals to keep beside him. Over the last jump in the first straight he bobbled a little which left the inside open to secure the lead.I was trying so hard to stay in front I bonked a couple of manuels but managed to hold him off by a wheel or so at the line.

There are some really fast riders that race locally , not all of them were there, But I'm so stoked that I got the first local win of the year.Even if I don't win anymore this year I will be happy if I ride as good as I did last night.

I also have to give huge props to a very skilled rider Sebastian Torbert! He has an awesome attitude and don't let his riding ability go to his head.I respect him so much after talking to him .I hope he continues to have a stellar career in racing. He now is my favorite rider. And hes a great role model for anyone.

The first race at Bradley was rained out today.Bummer I'm ready to get the season started.Although I did work out a little to hard yesterday so I'm kind of sore. Also the Greg Hill clinic was postponed until next month sometime.I've been training alot trying to get some speed back after the Sept. crash and it seams to be working.

My next important race will be a NBL regional race in Atlanta at peachtree city bmx.I need to get at least one good score there to help my NBL national standing.I'm currently in 10th in 30-34 expert and I hope to stay in the top 10 by the time the grands get here.It will be very hard though due to the limited amount of nationals I will be attending.Only time will tell.I will post some results when I get to race agian.

Good luck to everyone this season,c-ya at the races
