my State title though!

I've had a shoulder seperation for a few months now. I keep re injuring it trying to workout. I can ride though, but at gate practice I have noticebly gotten slower. I'm finally going to the doctor to see what he says about it. I have been riding and working out for a few weeks so maybe I'll get back to where I was in a couple of months................Good luck to everyone this season!

Sorry for the lack of updates.I didn't get to race in Morristown On Thanksgiving weekend. After the NBL grands I have kind of just been riding for fun.I'm getting a workout routine started back up.My work is slowing down so I should be more consistant on my workouts.

I will be racing less nationals this year ,due to lack of funds .I will train to do as well as possible to the ones I get to. I was asked to be on a local team for the start of next season. It's not for sure though,I'll give updates as I get them. For a couple of months I'll just be working out.So everyone get ready for next season.I'll see you all at the races.

My next national will be the Thanksgiving national and u.s. open. They will be the first of the '09 NBL series for me. It's three possible scores for the next years ranking hunt. I hope to get a good start with these. I'll start up my trainig program on the 28th. Hopefully to get ready for a few podiums in Morristown!

Well it's over. With a dissapointing showing at the grands.I didn't make it out of my motos.I got sick last Wed. and have been on cipro antibiotics since.I think that had something to do with my riding being so off.I missed the quaters by 1 freakin point. That's life though.

On a better note I ended up 17th overall wich isn't great but it couldh've been worse.I'll have to think about goals for next season, for a couple of weeks I'm just going to ride for fun. Hope all you guys had a good weekend! Good luck on all the upcoming events
!

The NBL grands are getting closer and closer. I've trained harder and more consistant than ever before but my national results have been sub par. I am getting stonger and faster I just have to make it work at the same time. The race that I've done all that training for is coming up and physically I feel really good. So I hope it all comes together Labor day weekend. There is alot of really good riders in my class so even making the semis will be very hard . To  make the main would be a dream come true.

As soon as the Grands race is over it will be rush season at work so I'll barely get to ride until after Christmas. I'm sure I will keep the training going though. So I'm going to do my best to have as much fun as possible! This is probably the last year I will be racing for national points because of finances, But I am going to try to stay in race shape so I can continue to improve and enjoy racing on a local and state level. Although I do plan on racing the occasinal national but it will be all for fun. Good luck to everyone who goes to the grands and try to have alot of fun!

Well Nashville is over and I didn't do good at all. I didn't make saturdays main and I withdrew from sundays race.I wasn't able to better my points,so staying in the top twenty will be rough. I'm currently in 15th but bound to drop some before the grands. I just couldn't master the track and the level of the other racers was crazy. Some of my local friends did well and the racing was fun to watch.

So I'll be training as hard as I can for the Grands. With the most lofty goal of making the main. My 2nd goal is to finish in the top 20 of my class. I haven't made the main at the grands as an expert yet. This will be my third try and I've only made it to semis before. They did make some silly track changes to the third straight with some really big doubles that you have to jump to be fast. I'm not a good jumper but I'll huck it if I have to.Good luck to everyone going to the NBL grands hope to see you all there.

Nashville is the next race I plan on attending. It's on July 19th and 20th. It's a pro series race so it will be fun to watch. GO211.com is having a webcast of it so check it out. I'm training for it by doing long sprints, the first straight is sooo long, it also has some difficult obstacles that I have to figure out how to take. I'm 14th in national points in the 35-40x class in NBL but if I had 35 points I would be in 11th. If I don't get any points I will probably fall to around 17th or so before the NBL grands. My goal for this race is to get as many points as possible because it's my only chance to improve them before the grands. I would love to have a top 15 plate this year.

Hendersonville has come and gone. I didn't do as well as I had hoped but had some good competition. I couldn't get out of the gate and to the first jump fast enough to give the first and second place riders a challenge. I was really close the rest of the race but just couldn't pull 'em in. Sunday I did get out of the gate better but my first five pedals were not strong enough to win the drag race to the first jump.

The training helped somewhat as I was not tired the second day. I also felt stronger from one moto to the next and there were only about 15 minuets between each. So I plan to keep on traing hard. I think I will shift training purpose more to strength and the first 5-10 pedals. If I could improve power to the first turn I'm sure I will be in the mix. I'm going to get an actual squat rack soon so I can do more weight more safetly.

I did better my points by 75 so thats good but I'll need alot more to place in the top 10 or 15. I'm not sure if or when my next big race will be but I'll try to be more ready.
