Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I was a cross country rider mostly, but grew up racing motocross, hare scrambles and enduros. I bought a downhill bike last year and the rest was history.
List your competitive highlights
7th in my first race 4th in my second race and 1st in my third race. I was riding sport at the time and this year moved up to expert
What are you planning for next season?
I am planning on training hard to compete in the Utah Downhill series, as well as a few of the NORBA downhill races.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment was probably learning to backflip at the Air Dome.

What inspires you to compete?
The thing that most inspires me to compete is probably the rush involved with the entire aspect of downhill racing.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I do train. Mostly riding my bike, but some weight training and yoga. I currently use my downhill bike as my cross country bike which I feel is great training. I also love building new jumps and gaps to really thrill myself

My style is interesting, I would have to describe it as mostly Rasta with some punk hippy influence...
Employment / Experience Summary
I am a pastry chef, I run my own chocolate company, I studied in Paris France and I am originally from Delaware. I grew up racing motocross, but got out of it when I went to school. I just recently got into downhill racing, and I love every bit of it.
How's Life Treating You?
Life has been treating me very well. I recently bought a house 8 miles from the ski hill, and I just spent 3 weeks in Whistler riding everyday, so I would say life is good
