Overview

How I got started

I discovered and visited 2 kart tracks within an hour of my house last March. While walking through the pit area at Shellhammers Speedway in Leesport, Pa, I saw a picture of a kart that said "RENT ME." The owner of the kart, Bob Johnson of Jagged Edge Performance Glass, provided me with all the materials to get on the track and race. Through his guidance, I have experienced that basics of racing on clay and asphalt oval. With this knowledge, I decided to purchase the kart and continue my journed into kart racing.

Goals for the Future

Conrad Racing is focusing on promoting primary, secondary and associate sponsors, being competative at the track, and giving back to the community.   In other words, appreciate your partners, go fast, and say "thank you."  As for going fast, a "Top 5" for 2009 at Shellhammers Speedway would be great!

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

My biggest competitor is myself. Since I have so much to learn, it makes it difficult to race more experienced racers. Learning has always been an important part of my life. All the knoweldge I gain from talking to other kart racers, reading karting websites, and through my own race experiences helps me to find ways to overcome challenges of a new racer.
