Well, I have got off to a rough start this season. After going down for bike week and racing the first two GNCC races I severly sprained my ankle. As weird as it sounds, I missed a month of work and just got back to riding last weekend but was not 100%. I tried racing the Loretta Lynn`s GNCC but still had problems working the rear brake and dapping in the ruts. But on the upside I have still been able to train and be ready for the Baja 500 which is only a month away.
I will be laying low on the racing the rest of May to keep the ankle healing so all the money we have invested in going to Baja does not go to waste. Will be hitting lots of dual sport rides and some local races to stay sharp and will let you know how the 500 goes.
