How I got started
Never rode a motorcycle till 1997 and started as a novice racer. I rode on the street for 3 months in college with my Fraternatiy Brothers. We did nothing but stupid stuff and kept getting in trouble so we decided to do a track day and I have never riden on the street since. I rode 3, 1/2 seasons to get my feet wet and I have been hooked every since. I have been racing fulltime since 2001 and every year have improved consistently. This year wasn't all that great with work conflicts and some surgery, so I spent the year building a Jr Team and instructed for Cascade Track Time and ran a few races along the way.
Goals for the Future
My goal for 2005 was to finish top 5 in 750cc classes, top 5 overall in OMRRA and top 10 in 1000cc classes. I suceeded at this goal and next season planned to ride a 600 as well as my 750. Well with AMA changing schedule (since I work for AMA Timing and Scoring), I had to miss most of the season. Then an injury, surgery and stitches further delayed my racing and I decide to save my money and get ready for 2007. I built the Jr team and they had wonderful success. I have new riders for 2007 on the Senior team and we plan to have a great time in 2007 campaigning the new Kawasaki 600 in OMRRA and we plan to do some WERA West and WERA Endurance Races in 2007.
The Junior team plans to run the full NWMRA series on thier pocketbikes, Metrakits/NSR50's and KTM65 Supermoto bikes. They also plan to run the new 85cc class in OMRRA in 2007 on GP chassis bikes with 85cc motors.
