Overview

How I got started

I started riding off-road when I was 11 years old, but always wanted to try racing. My first race was at Starwest in First-Timers class when I was 13. I think I finished next-to-last place. Two years later, I qualified and raced in Ponca City. What a great experience!  The 2007 season will be my 3rd year on big bikes, and my first year racing Honda.

Goals for the Future

In 2008, I will be riding a CRF250R in Intermediate Class.  Just like last year, I am getting with Mike Healey to do some MX Training in the off-season.  I plan on working hard to get faster with better results, and will keep improving on my starts. Here is my tentative 2008 schedule.....
GFI series, Las Vegas World Mini Grand Prix , Loretta Lynn Qualifiers (local and regionals), Ponca City, CMC Trans-Cal, and some local races to fill-in the gaps and get some good racing practice.

I love classic rock and roll music......Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, and Led Zeppelin to name a few and I play drums and guitar.

Competitive Highlights

My biggest accomplishments were definitely in the 2004 season. I qualified and raced in Ponca City, raced at the World Mini, advanced to the Loretta Lynn Regionals in NM, got my first overall win in 85cc Novice at Lake Elsinore, and finished 3rd overall at the CMC Trans-Cal Nationals. Another first was that my picture appeared in the April issue of Final Lap magazine for the GFI 2004 Winter Series Showdown at Oatfield Raceway in Turlock, CA. That was cool.

The 2007 Season was a transition year for me, moving from Novice class to Intermediate in March.  The 2008 Season will be my first full year in Intermediate Class, and I plan on training hard and practicing more to get better results.  Although I did not get great results in Ponca, I was happy to qualify for this great race at the local qualifiers.  I'm proud of that accomplishment in 2007, but want to go back to Ponca in 2008 and come back with much better results.
