Alright so right now I am still waiting for my throttle tube that I broke last weekend...honestly not impressed! So as long as that part comes I today I will riding Saturday and Sunday before I head to school in the afternoon. I will post pictures and updates as soon as I can.  Coming up for races, I have the Super Saturday series and possibly a cross country race.  I am going  to college and am looking forward to that and I am really excited to incorporate my off track training at the gym in college as well as my track training. I am getting together with a group of racer ladies every Tuesday until it snows for some good time practice and networking!!

Well it was a very interesting weekend in Alix. The track on Saturday was aweasome! I had the best race ever in my 125 Beginner class. I came out 15th overall (out of 32 boys!) it was awesome! I had a blast and seriously my favorite race this year.

It then procceded to rain all night all day, they cancelled the second moto and we were the last race of the day. The winner in my class (Ladies A) was the only girl that didnt crash so servely that she was either taken off by the EMS , could make it up the finish line hill or killed her bike. Let me just say that girl was not me! Congrads Donna! There are two doubles directly after the first turn when you start, my friend Kim was in front of me, she didnt do the first double as I did it she lost control and I landed on her bike. I bent my front end all nice and broke my throttle, as well as hurt my left elbow (which is the elbow that I broke last november...) well all pumped full of adernaline I got up got some help starting my bike and tried to ride that bent mess around the track....well it don't go very well~!!

But reguardless I had a good time! Luckily none of the girls in my class where to badly hurt except maybe in spirit. The B ladies who were fighting for points all had a great race and showed us ALL UP! It was hilarious! Next time I know...if it sick muddy like it was race my own race rather then try to win! I would have been fine if I didnt initally crash, hurting my self, the other girl and our bikes! I learned a lesson that day but seriously had a great time!

Coming Up!

I start college next week as well as the Wildrose Motocross Association Fall Super Saturday Series stars Sept 8th. I will unfortunatly be missing one race for sure but I will be attending all races and I will post results as I can!

Thanks so much! Pictures are coming!

I went to see the Surgeon yesterday in Banff. She was extremely helpful and broke the news to me nicely.

I have a torn meniscus as well as ACL. I will be going to get a MRI soon, and then she will proceed to put me through to surgery. Instead of fixing my meniscus first and then going in again to get my ACL we will be doing it all in one sitting so I wont have to recover twice!

For right now she told me to stay active and wear my brace!

I will keep ya'll posted about my surgery and MRI!

Thanks!

Tonight we are leaving for a 2-days Alberta Provincial Series race in Alix, Alberta. I am really looking forward to my first official CMRC sanctioned Ladies A race!! It should be awesome and since my training is going extremely well I am hoping to really show some improvments!

I will post results and pictures (if possible) when I return!

Thanks!

Alright so I posted some new pictures from Practice on August 16th. Hope you guys like them!

This weekend we are headed to Extreme Raceways outside of Alix Alberta, I am looking forward to my first Ladies A CMRC race!! I am hoping to place well and I have been practice quite a bit since my foot healed (from the minor break during the Pro Nationals) and my bike should be running nicely by this weekend! I

will keep ya'll posted and feel free to leave comments for my new pictures!

Thanks

Hello!

I am getting back hard into my on track practice/training. I'm looking to ride about three times a week on top of my races. The track yesterday was really nice and we are going again tomorrow!

I'll keep you posted!

I raced in the CMRC Saskatchewan Provincial Round 10. It took place in Unity, at a track called Route 46. It was a really nice track, lots of fun with some great natural challenges and some big forgiving jumps. I raced in the Ladies class only , unfortunately the Ladies class and the Beginner class were back to back.

I got second in both motos which was good, I stalled in the first corner of the second moto but still managed to make it up to second place. Although I still really wanted to get that first. I am looking forward to racing possibly the 25th weekend in Raymond! I will keep everyone posted!

Thanks

We are planning on racing in the CMRC sanctioned race in Unity Saskatchewan this weekend. I am feeling okay, my knee isn't giving me to much trouble and my bike should run alright. I will post pictures and updates when I return on Monday!

Thanks!!

Alright this is extremely unfortunate but a usual occurance....

My knee popped out Friday afternoon, and has now swollen to be the size of a football! I wasn't able to go to the track on Saturday (but did manage to go to the gym...not sure if that was a good idea!) . Today since I am still unable to walk properly I will be doing some self prescriped water thearpy, which I did with my broken arm in December it really helped! Which mean I will basically go float around in the lake and work out my leg, the resistance the water gives you its good because it is everwhere on your body and makes ever muscle work equally as hard.

I am going to try to go to the track tomorrow, and hopefully get my bike figured out here so.Since I am still having a few problem with it!

Thanks for tuning in!

Alright! I haven't been able to ride much lately due to my bike being in for service as well as my knee has been sore. BUt I now have my knee brace in thanks to Hi Tech Athletic Bracing. It seems to be a great brace, but I am still waiting for the knee protection application. I am going to go riding a few times this long weekend in preperation for the race in Unity Saskatchewan next week! My dry land traiing is going extremely well.

I'll keep ya'll posted!
