Sunday May 24 2009 – WRMA Round 4 – Another 4th overall, alright. Not my favorite day, but not the worst! I finished 1st overall for the series which was awesome! Coming up, I am taking a week or so off to let my back heal, it has really been bothering me and making it hard to get 100% out there. My next race isn’t until June 21st (I have decided) except for Prologue which is in 2 weeks. We are getting ready!! Doing prologue practice next week and weekend as well as packing, organizing luggage, gear and such, its coming up so fast. I can’t believe it.

Sunday – CMRC Porcupine Hills XC – What an adventure! I lost my brake (change it on the trail with Clint), my throttle stuck, I had to ride up the most clapped out trails! By the time I got to some of the hills, there where line ups (think last man standing!) and one rut, one DEEP RUT! Sometime it was so deep my footpegs and swing arm wouldn’t fit and I had to virgin thru the frozen ground! It was icey, snowy, muddy, steep hills, rock climbs it was a MEGA adventure! I got stuck I in a creek for about 45 mins (haha thank you Kelly for helping me train!) But I was one of the last riders to finish the gnarly loop and I learned a lot!! I had a great time!!! This week, riding, working on my bike and training! I am looking forward to a exciting season!!

Quick Update!! I had a gnarly crash on April 28, and they where concerned my back was broken, (My back became sore during the race and I went to see the doctor May 5th he expressed his concerns) Turns out all is well, no fractures and I just had to stay awat from jumps this past weekend. I also stretched out my MCL at the motocross track on May 7th, it is healing up nicely and my new knee braces are in the works!!
This weekend there is a motocross on Saturday (Super Saturday at WRMA) as well as a CMRC Cross Country in Porcupine Hills that I will probably be racing. I am really looking forward to it, riding my own race and getting some more off road experience. I am aiming for the 2010 ISDE in Mexico as well as 2011 ISDE in Finland riding on the Ladies Canadian Trophy team, I have a lot of work to do but it will be a great experience!

Hello All,
While it has been an interesting last couple weeks. Had a major crash (luckily minor Injury!!) on April 26th, I didn't ride all week but did race on May 2nd in the WRMA Super Series. Come out 2nd in Ladies A, definitly not as aggressive as I can be but stil had a great time! Erzbergrodeo is coming up in about 4.5 weeks! I can't wait, I am racing the Kamloops Pro National the weekend before, so I will be busting back to Calgary Sunday and hopping on a plane Monday morning for my flight to Austria. I am doing reporting for SecondGearClub.com while we are there, so I will have lots of updates!
