This weekend was pretty great. I managed to get Friday off work (thanks to the fantastic ladies who cover for me!! JQ, KPF, CC!), Noel and I took off to Corner Grass for two days dedicated to EnduroCross obstacles. Friday was awesome, we rode for quite a few hours, I practice being more 'agro' and Noel did tons of laps! After a fairly early night and a solid sleep we woke up and went for a run/bike ride in the morning to warm up, it was so incrediably windy that we didnt managed to ride until late in the afternoon, and it was to dangerous to ride the obstacles so we rode the grass track a bit and caled it a day. We drove home Saturday night, as Noel had to work Sunday and I was supposed to go 4x4ing..

This week we are looking forward to lots of gym time as well as a few days at the Wildrose Motocross track to practive logs and walls in the trials bike section.

Cheers!

This weekend, Noel Bolso and myself went out to Corner Grass (www.cornergrass.com) at my friends the McGregors and practice obstacles.

Noel is currently getting ready for Las Vegas Endurocross, and he rode numerous laps and was consitant and powerful. He also coached me over some of the more challenging obstacles (in the intermediate and pro area)

I posted a few pictures in my Gallery under "Practice Oct 18-19 2008". So please check it out!

Hey all!!

This was my first weekend recently that didn't have a race. But I did manage to ride both Saturday and Sunday and have a nice day off Monday. As some of you may or may not know, this is a holiday weekend for us in Canada, Thanksgiving. So happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I rode in the bush both days this weekend, did some great tails both challenging and fast, I really enjoyed both days and am looking forward to riding the track tomorrow evening and get back into the gym this week. Not much is going on currently but we are going to Las Vegas in 6 weeks, so Noel Bolso has lots of practice to do!

I will keep ya'll update on the coming weeks!

Hello Everyone,

Saturday
I had my final motocross (and race) of the regular 2008 Season. I am sad that it is over, but I am looking forward to training and riding over the winter so that I can make an impact in the 2009 year. I finished Ladies A with a 2nd place for the day, and a 3rd overall, which is awesome considering I missed a race.  We raced on the main track, which is fairly challenging (lots of jumps) and I hadn't ridden it all year so I was extremely happy with my success. I ran top ten with the Juniors, and finished up 12th overall (I will confirm when results are up). I dont have a whole lot of pictures yet but I should have a few up shortly.

Sunday
Noel Bolso and myself went for a bush ride on Sunday at Blackrock, Waiprious Alberta. It was a fun, challenging ride, and since I hadn't ridden the bush in a few weeks it defintily put me back in my place. We went up some gnarly hills, and I had my first high speed crash in the woods, lets just say I was going motocross fast thru the tight trees, swipped a tree and went rag doll. I credit my off track training for the lack of injury I had (I came away with a 'stunned' wrist, and bruised hip), it wasn't till I crashed on a hill that I drop my bike (foot peg woot!) on my foot, that one is giving me a little bit of trouble, but I am sure its fine, probably going to see a doctor just in case! :) But overall it was a fantastic day!!

So, just wanted to thank my sponsors!
