Hello!



So this was my first year ice racing in the Alberta Series (sanactioned by CMA) as well as the Western Canada Series. I rode a 2006 YZ450F (stock), I rode in the Ladies Open Class as well as the Novice 250 Class. I missed the first Novice race because I wasn't sure how I was going to do considering if was my first time on a race bike (previously I had always ridden in the bush) but I ended up beating all the ladies after the second corner and beating them by a quater of a lap. I ended up winning every heat of every race entered. So I finished the 4 race series with a prefect 24 for 24. I was Alberta Womens Champion as well as Western Canadian Novice 250 Champ. Next year I look forward to a more challenging series, because I will now be racing Intermediate.  If there is a Ladies Class I will probably race that one as well.
