Alright! So I have had my ACL Reconstruction and my menisucs surgery, it went extremely well (i am told) and I am currently doing the first couple days of complete chilling while using my cryocuff and staying hydrated and taking my meds. It was an extremely painful experience after wards and the sound of the drill really bothered me during the surgery, so i slept through most of it. I have posted some pictures so feel free to check them out!
I am going for my first physio appointment on Monday, and I am looking forward to healing up and riding, racing, training and sleeping through the night!!

I leave for Banff on Monday, and I will spending the night the day before my surgery. I am supposed to be at the hospital at 6.30am, so to eliminate the long drive in the morning we will be staying in either Banff or Canmore. I am getting a little nervous and am trying to keep my self busy, strong and healthy to ensure everything that I have control of is in my favor for next week!
But on a happier note! This is the schedule for the CMRC Pro Womens National Series for 2008.
May 25 Ste-Julie, Quebec
June 1 Gopher Dunes, Courtland, Ontario
June 22 Moto Valley Raceway, Regina, Saskatchewan
July 20 Castrol Raceway, Edmonton, Alberta
August 10 Sand Del Lee, Richmond, Ontario
I would love to be able to attend all of these races, but unfortunatly the chances off all that happening this year is very slim! My goal is to be ready for the July 20th Race in Edmonton Alberta. I will hopefully have already been riding at the track and off road at lot for physio and practice so I hope to be in great condition for that race. I am hoping to race come CMRC Southern Alberta Races as well as some Cross-Country and Hare Scrambles. I would love to race in Regina, and depending on how well rehab, physio and riding goes we will see!!
Wish me luck!
I will post Wednesday when I return home about surgery and I will have a list of all my new sponsors by then!
Thanks so much!!

Alright! So surgery is coming up pretty quick here! One week from today I will be enjoyin my self on my way to the hospital...straving cause I havent been able to eat yet and a little nervous to watch them drill holes in my leg!! I need it so I not to worried, but I want to get back on my bike as soon as possible.
On the bright side I have been training like crazy. Five days a week I;ve been going my EvolvedMX warmup, followed up works out to improve my core, leg strength and balance (for surgery!) and my upper body. Also, riding the bike and I am planning on incorporating the rowing machine today and some other days this week. Also, I am doing some yoga, let me tell you! Watching a broomstick perform yoga is horrible but I really think its helping me a lot!!
Everything else is going well, I have physio booked, I've had a few job interviews in the city, hoping to move to the Southern End of Calgary so that I can live closer to the track and my trainer. (and possibly my new job....shh its a secert!) That is my goal and I usually get what I want. Also, my search for a new bike has commenced! I am checking out all the brands Suzuki, KTM, Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki and trying to figure out what to purchase next year/later this summer.
Well I must be off to work, I will post an update right after I get back from surgery!
Thanks!

Hello! I just want to post an update. The bike show was really good, i ended up just walking around Saturday and Sunday I volunteered at the Second Gear Club Booth!! It wass good, not going to lie thou. I as absolutely choked that I wasn't racing Mini Indoor......
But I also made a bet and here is the update:
This was orginially on my facebook profile!!!
Alright! So I posted this on my status at about noon today. Apparently there is limited belief that I can make it through! (Considering I might not be able to ride til 2009.....but secertly I'm hoping to ride in like June 08 at the latest!) These are my conditions (or rules!) 1. I will be getting salon color/hilights 2. I reserve the right to trim my bangs (or else I would look like a hippy and who has ever seen a hippy with a dirtbike, camaro, truck, trailer, and hilights!?) 3. It offically goes into effect Jan 22nd (the day of my surgery) I am going to take a picture every monday to keep track of the growth! and turn it into a video like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=aU6ojtBW0Qo&feature=related(come on guys if i cant ride, what else am i going to do?? except maybe go to races, help out, coach and train/rehab/physio??) So this is going to be hilarious! and I look forward to having disgustingly long dry hair in no time! Bring on the mud, wind and rain that we all experience while watching and participating in motorsports! Also! My surgery is for my knee! I tore my ACL august 2006, and my meniscus in the same knee January 2007, it hurts everday and it was great that I could ride but catching it on a rut and my knee 'popping out' sucked!! My shoulder is also giving me lots of trouble, I will be getting that looked at Feb 2008.

Alright! So my surgery countdown has started! Three weeks from today I will be lying in a fantastic hospital room with some new hardware (screws!!), a new ACL (from my hamstring eww!) and some nice tubes and what not coming out of my knee! I am looking forward to getting back on my bike and I am currently training five - six days a week with both Lacy as well as working on my own. I will be in top condition for surgery and then I will not fall behind and lose as much strength and such during my recovery period.
Also! The Calgary International Motorcycle show is this weekend in Calgary Alberta. I will be working the Suzuki booth all weekend so feel free to stop in!!
