About Me!

I have been riding bikes since I was three years old. After the very first time I jumped on the seat opened up that throttle and beat my older brother in the field behind my house I was hooked. Although I didn't get the opportunity to race until 15 years later I was blessed to always have bike around when I needed it.
I grew up in Cochrane Alberta, and I have done many neat things growing up including traveling with my family and playing tons of sports. I have played/competed in Field Hockey, High Diving, Tennis, Soccer, Badminton, Track and Field, ect. ect.
When I started ice racing in 2006 I couldn't imagine how I could have gone that long without it! After ice racing I sold my off-road bike (a 2002 DR-Z250) and bought a 2006 YZ250F. I started racing arenacross and motocross a week later. I love it and I couldn't live without it!

Personal Information

What inspires you to compete?

My competitive drive and love of adrenaline, the feel of the bike, the smell of the atmosphere and the complete ecstasy I experience from riding (competitively or recreationally) is something I cannot live with out.

Describe your style...

I have a flowing riding style, adjusting to a 2-stroke is something I am finding challenging but rewarding.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to ride motorcycles. After that I will be a Personal Fitness Trainer for the Future Moto and Offroad Generations

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I love traveling! Meeting new people, experiencing other cultures and expanding my views is something I find extremely rewarding. I have had lots of good adventures; my favorite road trip was in Austria and Italy for Erzberg 2008. (My now husband) Noel Bolso was racing and we drove all over the country side. He had a great race and we had an awesome time exploring that part of Europe and experiencing everything from beautiful hills, breath-taking mountains, crazy Italian drivers and almost crashing into a Passat in Germany.

Why do you like this sport?

I love racing offroad because it isn't just you against other people, its the rider against the trail, the terrian and the clock.

As of today all motorcycles and product/parts for motorcycles and ATV's for
kids have been made illegal to sell in the USA. ALL of the manufacturers
Honda, Yamaha, Kawisaki, KTM, Cobra, Polini, Polaris ALL have instructed
there dealers to take all of the motorcycles and ATV off of the sales floor.
They have also been told to no longer sell parts. This law was past to
protect kids from lead in their toys that they might chew on and somehow
motorcycles got wrapped up in it. We have just got off of a conference
call with Congressmen Tom Self and the other manufactures of motorcycles.
Tom Self has set up a website that will send a letter to all the people of
this commitee to get their attention. We are trying to shut down there
email and fax machines here in the next 2 to 3 days. Please go to
www.tomself.com [http://www.tomself.com] and put in your name and address
and the letters will be sent. Make sure to do a letter for yourself and
also have your wife, children, cousin, grandparents, coworkers, ect. We
need millions of letters to get this done. The Motorcycle Industry Counsil
has the paperwork in Washington to be signed but with all of the stimulus/
TARP stuff going on no one will stop and take the time to look into this.
Please send this information to anyone you have contact with. This is
happening and we need YOUR help. If anyone says different do not believe
them.

Thank You
