Overview

How I got started

My cousin had a XR100 and rode that every time I went to his house, but I really got started when my dad bought me a YZ125 when I was 12. I just rode for a few years and had a lot of fun but I wanted to do somthing more. I then moved up to a 250 and started racing in 2002, and just really got into it and wanted to race a lot more. I then moved up to the 450 I am riding now and am having a lot of fun and racing as much as I can.

Goals for the Future

My goal of moving up to the B class are delayed a year after getting hurt and having surgery. I am going to run in the C class and just get my condition better and just try to improve all around. I am going to run the Regional Arenacross, and all the Lauretta Lynn qualifyers. I plan to run a couple of other races and hopefully qualify for Lauretta Lynn`s. My main goal is to just remeber that I am doing it to have fun, and just keep having a blast riding.

What inspires you to compete?

I have went to watch the Indianapolis Supercross and the Nationals at Kenworthy for years watching my idols, Jeremy McGrath, Kevin Windham, ect. Another big part of it is the competition and the people involved in the sport. The riders and familys are great. I mean everyone will help all they can to get you to race if something goes wrong, but once the gate drops they won`t give you an inch. It`s great people like that and fierce competition that makes our sport so great. So my mom and dad finally got me a bike when I was about 12 and I have been hooked ever since. I want and will continue to race and ride for a very long time.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a 6`0" about 165lb. graduate of Connersville highschool. Baseball used to be my life, I played since I was 3 all the way through my freshmen year. I had been riding for a couple years and raced every now and then, but I was getting wore out on baseball and started to race full time instead. It was also helpful that I could race after highschool because I wouldn`t made it to a great college playing ball. So I am a racer who spends most of his time either at school, work, or riding.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train as much as I can. I have a job and go to school but every extra time I get I ride and train. I don`t really like the weight traning part, or any off the bike training, but it is something that has to be done if you want to be good. I just love being on my bike and any time I get a chance that is where I am. The time I spend with my friends is mostly on the track or trails riding. My schedule is pretty full and am very busy all the time.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I am now studying to in the medical field and hope to become a surgical tech or a Radiologist.
