Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I started with BMX bikes at age six, then went on to race three wheel ATV's. After that, I tried my hand in off-road trucks, and eventually came back to ATV's on a Quad.

List your competitive highlights:

Turning Pro on ATV (three-wheelers) at age 14 years old. Winning: 1999 Best in the Desert Pro-Truck Championship. Getting back on an ATV (Quad) at thirty-eight years old and keeping up competitively with the youngsters.

What are you planning for next season?

This season, winning the #1 plate in the Open Quad class in the District 38 Desert Racing Series. Next season, moving to the Vet.(35+ age) Quad class and taking the #1 plate there.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

In racing, winning championships. In life, being a husband and father to my two kids.

Hey, did you see my sponsor?? 2 Cool!

You should get Scott and the guys to go with you to race MX - What about me?? Just a joke for sure!!

Anyways Scott and I were talking about riding up in Idyllwild and we were going to check it out, so let Scott know if you might be up for it. We can all stay at the folks house or use the Thousand Trails membership and take the trailers - we can bring you guys as a guest.

Just a thought, but would be a lot cheaper to stay with the folks!!
