beautiful day, there's only one thing I wish I was doing right now..

Got the green light to ride!  Unfortunately, the weather is not the best but after almost 5 months!  Any day spent riding is better than not riding at all....

Well it's officially been 91 days since I last rode and I'm beginning to wonder how long it'll be until my new ACL has fully recovered...what a bummer!  Nevertheless, high hopes and watching a copious amount of moto on the net, dvd and cable does tend to help a little :o) but it kinda makes you wonder how people live without Moto.  I recently had my younger bro come over and kick start my bikes just so that I could rev them a little bit...I felt much better - lol  So if you're ever feeling down, go out to the garage and start your baby up for a couple of minutes, I guarantee you'll have a smile on your face for the rest of the day.  Cheers!

Never has it been more evident than the past couple of weeks how much Moto means!!  Unfortunately it looks like my season is done!  Racing for a podium position and unfortunately someone decided to cross lines in mid-air...going from far right all the way across to the left and taking out my front end in the air...result - torn ACL, torn miniscus, fractured fibula plateau and a whole lot of pain.

I didn't know how bad the damage was but realized it was something serious when I couldn't move my leg for about five minutes.  EMT came over and wanted to transport me but there was still about two laps left in the moto.  I had someone start my bike for me, I jumped on and basically putted my way around for another lap to take the checkers (in dead last and a world of pain)...I was proud nonetheless to finish the race and not DNF and although my results sucked I felt like I won when a couple of spectators stopped by my pit to commend me for finishing the race and see how I was doing.  I was pretty disappointed because I had a whole speech and wanted to thank my sponsors :o)

The dude that took me out was genuinely remorseful and I had a couple friendly words with him and let him know that there were no hard feelings.

That's Racing and I can't wait to get back.

Cheers!

It's freezing in the North-east and it'll be snowing pretty soon.  This means it's time to take the bikes apart, send out the suspension (Factory Connection ofcourse); pick up new plastics, graphics and numbers (One Industries & Decal Works); and finally refresh the top-end.
